Content delivered to more than 20,000,000 spectators across the world in 2017, at over 50 Stadia and Arena spanning 4 continents.

Looking back over the 2017/2018 season, there have been some great achievements from Tripleplay sporting clients, with over 20,000,000 spectators across the globe viewing Tripleplay Digital Signage & IPTV, it was great to be part of the action.

We are thrilled to congratulate our friends at Manchester City who won the Premier League and the League Cup, Atlético Madrid who won the Europa League, Chelsea who won the FA Cup, Wolverhampton Wanderers and Cardiff City who have been promoted back to the Premier League and Rotherham United have been promoted to the Championship.

With many more sporting events to come, we took a look at some of our own successes from the season:

Content delivered to over 20 sporting disciplines
Our Digital Signage was used to deliver information to fans of sports such as; rugby, football, baseball, ice hockey, tennis, cricket, wrestling, eventing (dressage, show jumping and cross country) and gymnastics, making sure fans weren’t bending over backwords to find important information.

Content delivered to over 10,000,000 British football fans during the 2017/18 season with over 50% of the EPL using Tripleplay
As of the 2018/2019 season, commencing in August this year, Tripleplay will be deployed at 11 out of the 20 Premiership football teams, delivering content to over 10,000,000 football fans.

Tripleplay deployed at the world’s number 1 Tennis Venue
Tripleplay delivered its Digital Signage and IPTV platform to around 2,000 screens at Wimbledon’s All English Lawn Tennis Club (AELTC) since 2016, for the prestigious grand slam tennis championships. No double faults only Tripleplay allowed when it came to serving content at Wimbledon.

Content delivered to 125,000 spectators at the NASCAR Daytona 500
Tripleplay deployed to over 1,500 screens at The Daytona International Speedway using our super low latency encoder technology to make sure fans didn’t miss a milli-second of the action.

Partnered with 6 National Stadia Globally
This included Twickenham, Croke Park and the Stade de France. No longer just flying the flag for their country, but the Tripleplay colours as well.

25% of venues in Europe in Pollstar’s top 100 venues
With Tripleplay clients Manchester Arena and the SSE Hydro, Glasgow, finishing in the top 4, others on the list included First Direct Arena, Leeds, Mercedes-Benz Arena, Berlin and the SSE Arena, Belfast.

3 World Cup 2018 Venues
Luzhniki, Krotovsky and Spartak stadiums will all host games for this year’s football World Cup in Russia, all using the Tripleplay solution, with the Luzhniki stadium, the chosen venue for the show piece World Cup Final.

 

Like all good sporting managers, Tripleplay can look back at a great season for our Digital Signage, IPTV and VOD technology and make key changes to improve the platform moving forwards. With plans to develop our product set and add new features for existing and future clients, we hope to continue to stay top of the leader board and hold 1st place as an industry leader in digital signage and IPTV.
