Stade Toulousain deploy digital signage and IPTV solution with Tripleplay and Samsung

Paris, France, 22/8/2014: Four time Heineken Cup winners, Stade Toulousain has selected Tripleplay and Samsung to provide 35 screens of digital signage and IPTV at its newly refurbished 19,500 seat Stade Ernest-Wallon in Toulouse, France.

The solution is powered by the Tripleplay Digital Signage and IPTV head end software solution and delivered via a newly implemented IP network to Amino Set Top Boxes and HD Samsung screens, with the entire project implemented by AV integrator Triaxe.

As well as enabling Stade Toulousain with the ability to deliver live TV, communications and advertising content , the Tripleplay solution also enables the delivery of live streamed footage from the pitch directly to television screens around the ground; ensuring spectators using concessions stands do not miss a minute of the action.

Tripleplay Managing Director for Europe, Carlos Amorós, is delighted to work with Stade Toulousain; “We have built up a great reputation in this industry and, working alongside Samsung and Triaxe, have delivered a great solution. Owing to the stadium redevelopment we had to implement the technology in just seven days and have done so successfully, ensuring the solution was ready in time for the new season.”

Tripleplay’s Country Manager for France, Philippe Lemaire, added; “Stade Toulousain is a great club with a fine history of success, not just here in France but also in major European competition. We are very proud to have our digital signage and IPTV solution in place at Stade Ernest-Wallon and look forward to building a lasting relationship with the club.”

Tripleplay’s TripleSign Digital Signage and TripleTV IPTV solution are in place at a number of sports stadiums including Chelsea FC, Manchester City, Spartak Moscow, Tampa Bay Rays and the Aviva Stadium in Dublin.
