Tripleplay nominated in InAVation Awards Technology category for Video Distribution and Processing

London, UK, 28/11/2014: Tripleplay’s TripleNGenTV, the next generation TV platform, has been selected as a finalist in the Video Procession and Distribution Technology category at the 2015 InAVation Awards, to be held on the 10th February at Westergasfabriek in Amsterdam, following the first evening of the ISE Exhibition.

The InAVation Awards is one of the highlights of the AV Industry calendar, with professionals from around the world attending and some of the biggest technology manufacturers, integrators and resellers represented in the award categories.

Tripleplay recognises that IPTV has evolved from the days it simply used to deliver TV content to TVs over a LAN. Corporations now demand integration into digital signage, LDAP/Active Directory, SAML, Microsoft Sharepoint, Lync and offer access via mobile devices, laptops, smart TVs as well as traditional TV screens; all with minimal network impact.

Tripleplay TripleNGenTV offers all of this along with HD quality standards based tech TV and conference recording, fail-over, redundancy and resilience and compliance with network and IT security requirements. It’s not just a TV solution it’s a complete business solution; for these reasons our solution was selected as a finalist.

Tripleplay Marketing Manager, James Keen, commented; “To have our next generation TV platform recognised this way justifies the huge efforts we have made to develop a solution that adapts to any environment and for any need. We don’t just distribute video and TV over a network, we can do that of course, but we know that video must be a business tool too. It must integrate into 3rd party software, be resilient, feature rich, high quality and, importantly, simple to integrate for our resellers and partners.

“We feel we have achieved this with TripleNGenTV solution and thank InAVation for this recognition and look forward to a great night in Amsterdam.”
